As I painted, I let the greens shift and blend, creating depth and softness, then added small pops of yellow, ochre, and earthy tones to suggest wildflowers, grasses, and the little surprises nature scatters across the land. These marks aren’t meant to be literal, they’re impressions, memories, and gestures that capture the feeling of walking through an open field.
