This stunning seascape captures my love of the ocean and its endless sense of mystery. I wanted to create a feeling of open space and quiet energy, where the deep teal and turquoise tones draw you into the movement of the water. The soft pink ochre and browns along the horizon suggest a distant shoreline, while the pale blue sky adds calm and balance. For me, it’s about that beautiful stillness you feel when you pause and look out to sea and everything feels vast yet peaceful.

I added touches of bright lime yellow, pink and light turquoise to bring life and rhythm to the work, almost like fleeting shimmers of light or movement beneath the surface. My loose brushstrokes and expressive marks are intentional, giving the piece an energy that feels both spontaneous and natural. Even though it’s a small painting, I think it captures the vastness and freedom of the ocean and that sense of timeless connection between sea and sky that always inspires me.
