About the Artist
Carolyne Jane is an abstract artist who finds inspiration from the incredible rocks and sea around Phillip Island. She is drawn to the changing colours of the sea, and the beautiful colours of the red rocks and natural diversity of the island, which usally end up being the main subjects for her art. Carolyne Jane has a real passion for colour and enjoys experimenting with the use of different colour combinations to create her work.
Carolyne Jane's works are totally intuitive and she pours all her energy, passion and emotion into each unique piece she creates. Her works are mainly acrylic with some mixed media of charcoal and pastel and she adores painting on large canvases
